Zinnia Health and Wellness Week: A Perfect Synergy

At Zinnia Health, we believe a strong correlation exists between health, wellness, and successful addiction recovery. Our holistic approach treats patients with co-occurring disorders, acknowledging recovery as a lifelong journey requiring continuous support and encouragement.

This collaboration is a testament to our mutual dedication to accessible addiction recovery and mental health treatment.

Together, we work to set new standards in promoting holistic health through positive lifestyle changes and bring attention to the importance of a supportive community network, which is crucial for long-term recovery.

What is Wellness Week with Herren?

Wellness Week with Herren encourages participation from various sectors including businesses, schools, families, and other grassroots organizations to educate and inspire action toward a healthy lifestyle, free from the grip of addiction.

Community sponsors like Zinnia Health get involved by:

  • Wearing purple to show support
  • Participating in fitness-related and wellness activities
  • Reading Herren Project Substance Use Discussion Guides
  • Signing up for Wellness Education Webinars
  • Commit to giving back (e.g. sober living home, soup kitchen, other community-serving organizations)
  • Sharing on social media

Purple With A Purpose: The Purple Plank Challenge

We are proud to participate in the Purple Plank Challenge, an innovative and engaging activity designed to raise awareness about the addiction recovery movement.

By encouraging our team and community members to “Plank Purple” in creative and fun ways, we’re spreading the message of hope and solidarity, all while wearing purple.

Illuminating Hope: Engagement and Advocacy

Zinnia Health Exeter staff are excited to participate in the Wellness Week Purple Illumination Event at the Rhode Island State House on Monday, March 4. This symbolic gathering sheds light on the critical issues surrounding addiction and mental health and highlights the importance of community support, wellness, and recovery initiatives.

Located in southern Rhode Island, Zinnia Health Exeter provides inpatient and outpatient addiction and dual-diagnosis treatment services.

The Exeter location also offers Zinnia Health’s Healing for Heroes program, tailored for military veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and their families in managing the unique challenges of their job-related stress.

Bold Partnerships and Moving Forward with Zinnia Health

We are thrilled to be part of this collaborative effort with Herren Project and look forward to making a positive impact in our community during Wellness Week.

Stay tuned as Zinnia Health continues to collaborate with community partners to drive change and help raise awareness of addiction, promote well-being, and support those affected by substance abuse. Together, we make a difference.
