How Bad is Substance Use Disorder in North Dakota?

In 2014-2015, North Dakota’s annual average percentage of alcohol use among adolescents aged 12-17 was similar to the corresponding national annual average percentage.

Among adolescents aged 12-17 in North Dakota from 2011 to 2015, an annual average of 10.2% initiated alcohol use, an annual average of 4.2% initiated marijuana use, and an annual average of 4.9% initiated cigarette use.
